BIOGRAPHY

With a rich childhood filled with exposure to all sorts of music from death metal to bluegrass to psy-trance, anjlkllr brings to the table an interesting and driving mix of dirty electro, funky breaks, and a select bit of house & progressive house; sometimes even a bit of techno & tech house.

From early on, anjlkllr showed an aptitude for music; taking piano lessons for 4 years paved the way for a career in the fast-growing music industry.

As a teenager she was elevated to advanced choir within a year of starting and received private voice lessons, all the while stumbling around basic mixing & production programs installed on the school's computers.

After graduating high school, anjlkllr continued on the music side of her education by taking an advanced course in sound synthesis, taught by Francis Preve, topping off her already-wide knowledge base with the intricate workings of Ableton Live 7 & 8, Reason 4.0, and Logic Pro. The icing on the cake was becoming a DJ to get her name out there.

Taught to spin by DJs Nate B & Enum, anjlkllr learned the most important necessities of beat-matching and mixing, as well as gaining a greater understanding of sound in general.
