BIOGRAPHY
Suzanna Zustovic was born in 1975 in Sweden. Her passion for dance music came along in 1996 when she started a career as an aerobics instructor. This became the reason for her to get in touch with house music. In 1997, a friend of hers informed her about InterFace - a London radio show. When first tuning in to the show, her mind made a total switch and her devotion to house music became obvious. Even more exited to buy her own records she went to London and Brighton to explore the world of house and 1999 bought her first 12" house record. She collected more and more vinyls and decided to start mixing in 2002.
During her full time nursing studies at the university she gave all the free time to get more skills in beat mixing on her husband’s decks (who by coincidence is a dj and producer, making Suzanna a genuine house wife). It didn’t take long until she began broadcasting together with her husband Peter Cekon over his radio show at InterFace. As time went by she proved herself skilled enough to get her very own radio show, where she spun records the first time in January 2003. This brought forth getting gigs at some local nightclubs such as club Swing and Paus Tempo.
Suzanna is focusing on to vocal/funky house. Her inspiration for house music came from Mark Knight which she sees as a true house guru. He has remixed and worked with Barbara Tucker which also is one of Suzannas inspiration in the world of house. Soon she started to collect Marks new tracks from his label Toolroom Productions and finally she made up her mind to make the crowd rock on the dancefloor with sexy house tunes.
Her dj:ing has taken her up as fast as to next Ultrafusion Music Festival 2004 in Sweden and she is always looking for opportunities that will take her even further.
